New ISU Newsletter availableThe Information and Support Unit at Mount Sion in Waterford is organising a series of activities to mark "Africa Day" on Tuesday 25th May 2010.
Br Kevin Mascarenhas, ISU Director, explains that "the day will consist of a Fashion Show, Ethnic Food Stalls, Hair Braiding & Scarf Tying, a Story Telling Corner for Children, a Photographic Exhibition, Traditional Dance & Drumming, and a Crafts Display.
"If anyone would like to help the ISU with Africa Day or would like to donate pictures of Africa to be displayed on the day, we would be very grateful", says Brother Kevin."Just call Beverly at 051-852564."
The event is supported by Irish Aid and will take place from 10am to 2pm in the Mount Sion School Hall on Barrack St. Entry is free.
