This weekend marks an historic day in the city of Wa, capital of the Upper West Region of Ghana, as two young men make their final professions as Presentation Brothers.
Br Emmanuel Dassah and Br Emmanuel Imoru will make perpetual vows. We will have full details of this great event in the coming days.
It's also a special day of remembrance for Br Francis Agoah who will shortly celebrate the Silver Jubilee of his Final Profession. "It will be a day of great rejoicing for all of us and especially for the Brothers of the West Africa Province," he says.
"When I made my First Profession of Vows in 1985, there were only five Brothers in the region. Today, slowly but surely, the number of professed Brothers stands at 26- 13 finally professed and 13 temporary professed.
There are also 12 men in initial formation, 4 second-year novices, 5 first-year novices and 3 postulants.
The Province is also blessed with a good number of young men interested in our way of life. These candidates are not just from Ghana but also from other African countries, such as Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania."
Please pray for Brother Emmanuel Dassah and Brother Emmanuel Imoru this weekend!
