Africa Day at Mount Sion

Mount Sion in Waterford was the venue for the annual Africa Day celebration which took place this week. The event was organised by the Information and Support Unit managed by Br Kevin Mascarenhas.

A dozen different African countries were represented, including Ghana and Nigeria where the Presentation Brothers have communities.

Activities at the event included a fashion show, traditional drumming, and food tasting.

Brothers Philip and Cletus from the Novitiate Community in Killarney participated in a Ghanaian dance on stage.
