Br Francis Schafer (right) has been re-appointed as Province Leader of the Our Lady of the Americas Province. The Our Lady of the Americas Province includes communities of Brothers in Canada (Toronto), Grenada (St George's), St Lucia (Castries) and the United States (Kissimmee, Florida).

Province Leader announced for West Africa

Francis Agoah (left) has been named as the new Province Leader of the West Africa Province of the Presentation Brothers. The West Africa Province includes communities in Ghana (Bolgatanga, Logre, Navrongo,Tamale, Yendi) and Nigeria (Tafawa Balewa). Br Francis previously served as the Deputy Congregation Leader.

Inner City Community Day at Mount Sion

The second annual Inner City Community Day at Mount Sion in Waterford has been hailed as a great success by the event coordinator, Br Kevin Mascarenhas. "It all went very well and it was wonderful to see so many families having a fun day out," he said. The event, targeted at families in the inner city area of Waterford, featured face painting, music, dancing and plenty of entertainment all free of charge.

Br Andrew Hickey is new Province Leader for Anglo-Irish Province

Brother Andrew Hickey has been appointed as the new Province Leader for the Anglo-Irish Province of the Presentation Brothers. He succeeds Brother Walter Hurley who was elected to the Congregation Leadership Team at the Congregation Chapter in July. The Province includes communities in Ireland and England as well as a mission in Slovakia.
