Brother David Angsuura, Community Leader of our Br Jerome Kelly Community in Yendi in Ghana's Northern Region has sent this update:

The Brothers here in our community in Yendi have made a donation of building materials to the local primary school which has been in the process of building an extension. The materials included two packets of roofing sheets and two boxes of roofing nails.

The donation was made possible by a donation sent from Greenmount National School in Cork city in Ireland which is twinned with the Roman Catholic Primary School in Yendi.

"The school in Yendi has a very large student population," explains Brother David. "The school authorities, in collaboration with the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), have now added a classroom block, an office and store, to accommodate the growing population of students.

"The school was delighted to receive the roofing sheets and nails as it has allowed them to finish the building work on this new block.

"The school community, through the Presentation Brothers, express their profound gratitude to the pupils and teachers of Greenmount National School in Cork for the great support they have given to them."
