St Canice's win ISU hurling competition
Date: 10 Mar 2015
The 4th annual ISU (Integration and Support Unit) & GAA Cup has been held at Mount Sion GAA Club in Waterford city. Schools from Tipperary, Kilkenny and Waterford took part with honours going to St Canice's of Kilkenny who beat Carrick-on-Suir CBS to win the shield for the first time.
"All the participating schools had at least four foreign nationals on the team," explains Brother Kevin, Director of the ISU. "We were delighted to to have the GAA National Inclusion Officer Tony Watene in attendance on the day. We really appreciate the support of Croke Park and Munster Inclusion Committee as well. The tournament is one of a number of inclusion and integration activities that we plan to run during the year."
Well done to everyone who participated!
