Photos from Footsteps Pilgrimage

Date: 11 Mar 2015

Our Footsteps pilgrimage to Callan in County Kilkenny and Mount Sion in Waterford city was a great success!

Two busloads of pilgrims left Cork and Dublin for the day-long journey in the footsteps of Blessed Edmund Rice.

Callan was our first stop where we visited the Rice family cottage and prayed in the Blessed Edmund chapel.

At Mount Sion in Waterford, Fr Robert McCabe CF, celebrated Mass for our group. After lunch we visited the Heritage Centre before listening to an excellent talk by Professor Daire Keogh. The trip concluded with final prayers at Edmund's tomb.
