The popular Mondays at the Monastery series of Lenten talks are coming to Cork.
For the first time, Presentation Brothers Youth Ministry (PBYM) are linking with
Glasthule to run a series of eight talks over the Lenten period. Four talks will be
taking place in Glasthule, Dublin and four will be taking place in the PBYM Centre in Cork.
This year, the Year of Mercy will be to the fore, along with the questions about how we can be more merciful in our everyday lives. The PBYM Office are very excited to be welcoming speakers Fiona and Laure from St. Nicholas Trust, John Lonergan - former governor of Mountjoy Prison, Catriona Twomey from Cork Penny Dinners, and Fionnbar Walsh - father of Donal Walsh, from the Donal Walsh Live Life foundation.
Join us Monday 15th, 22nd and 29th February, and Monday 7th March from 7.00pm-8.30pm for four stimulating and exciting talks. The Lenten Talks are completely free, and are open to all age groups and all would be warmly welcomed. Seating is limited so make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment!
