Lord Mayor of Cork visits SHARE

The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Catherine Clancy, paid a courtesy visit to Mount St Joseph in Cork this week. She was greeted on her arrival by students from the SHARE executive and Brother Martin Kenneally, the Congregation Leader.

After signing the visitors' book, the Lord Mayor met with the local Brothers' community and staff at the Mount.

In an address of welcome, Br Martin thanked Cllr Clancy for taking the time to come and see the work of the young people. He presented her with a DVD of the Brothers' missionary work in Africa.

The Lord Mayor praised the fantastic work of SHARE which was founded by the late Brother Jerome Kelly. Cllr Clancy was educated by the Presentation Sisters at South Pres Convent in Cork city.

She also visited elderly SHARE residents at Mount St Joseph during her visit.
