Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh has marked the 50th anniversary of its foundation with a special Mass of thanksgiving (Wednesday, 8th October 2014) at the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit at Dennehy’s Cross in Cork city. The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Tom Clancy, Parish Priest of Dennehy's Cross. Fr. Colm O’Mahony, OSA, concelebrated while Bishop John Buckley, Bishop of Cork & Ross presided.

The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Mary Shields, was also in attendance. Guests included former staff members, representatives of past and present boards of management, and parents representatives, together with the student body.

Prefects from the student body assisted as ushers and readers for the Mass. The school choir and musicians also participated in the liturgy.

Take a look at some more photos from the event on the Coláiste's own website.

Well done to everyone at CSN!
