Date: 06 May 2015

Our Brothers from the International Novitiate in Killarney joined the school community at 'The Mon' National School for the annual Mass to mark the Memorial of Blessed Edmund Rice.

After the Mass, celebrated by Fr Jim Lenihan, the Brothers presented the school with a painting of Blessed Edmund.

"The painting illustrates the many different nationalities to whom Edmund Rice reached out," explains Br Barry. "'The Mon' school now has 25 different nationalities represented among the school community so this is a particularly appropriate painting!"

Well done to everyone involved, especially the boys who contributed so beautifully to the Mass with song and prayer!
