Brother Kevin graduates in Waterford

Congratulations to Brother Kevin Mascarenhas who has graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with a Higher Certificate in Arts, focusing on Comunity Education and Development. The ceremony took place on Monday, 5th January 2015.

Brother Kevin is the director of the Integration and Support Unit (ISU) at Mount Sion in Waterford city. The ISU provides services to hundreds of immigrants and asylum seekers in the city.

"I started my studies in 2011," explains Brother Kevin. "The aim of the course was to enable us to work more effectively as 'reflective practioners' in our community education and community development work," explains Brother Kevin. "The course has taught us new skills and knowledge."

Brother Kevin is a native of Pakistan and made his Final Profession as a Presentation Brother in 2009.
